A Moment Of Doubt
Today I shot a quick little video with my Kodak Zi8 and planned to post it on my YouTube account. Soon after I put it together, I began to doubt if it was a good idea. The reason I started to question myself was because I added a little humor that some might find rude. It's not something horrible, actually I'm probably making too much over it. Should I worry about what others think? What about creating the wrong impression for potential business clients who might come across something like this? My final decision was to create a separate YouTube account just for my more experimental and fun (for me anyway) video stuff. Of course there will always be the chance that someone who knows me might come across something I made and take offense or think it weird, but I guess that's just a chance I'll have to take. Those who truly know me and my sense of humor will understand and those who don't are probably people I don't want to associate with anyway.

Happy New Year!
I’ve loved books and reading since I was a young boy. Over the years I’ve secretly harbored a desire to write. While I may never be as skilled a writer as those I admire, I’ve decided to indulge my hidden fantasy and start writing. As with most skills, the best way to learn and grow is to actually do it. This blog is my way of practicing my writing and hopefully getting better at it as I go. I resolve on this first day of 2010, to sit down and post something to this blog at least once a week and try to make it interesting. I end this initial post with links to a few of the writers who I find inspiring. Cheers!
